Wounded Angel

Hand crafted music video made from cyanotype printed frames.

All prints were washed in water, snow, and the Nevėžis River before being cut and placed between two pieces of glass, mimicking negatives captured with a photo camera. By playing with light placement, diffusion, and hues, various tones and moods are achieved, all captured with an old soviet analogue lens. These shots were then uploaded to a computer, synced, and edited into the final video. The Nevėžis River water, which rinsed the pictures, became an invisible yet palpable character in the work, making the video an ode to the city of Panevėžys.

Egidijus Kriščiūnas documentary explains how the numerous steps, ideas and thoughts revolving around this project.
